Pencil Workshop at Yooletta// Noa Alon

The workshop will be conducted in two parts:

In the first part, we will experiment with basic tools for pencil drawing: observation, line versus shape, light and shadow. We will select a botanical object and draw it on paper. In the second part, we will paint in acrylic on a small canvas and prepare a banner with an original botanical artwork based on our botanical pencil drawing. Finally, we will sew and set up the banner so it can be hung on the wall. In a quick workshop, we will undergo an abbreviated art-making process – from observation and planning up to an artwork we can enjoy at home.
