A Place to Get Lost

A Place to Get Lost: Illustration and Poetry as Orientation

The exhibition explores the space between word and image to create a dialogue between pain and growth.

In the exhibition, the feeling of loss becomes an opportunity for rediscovery. Within a rich visual world, the exhibition seeks to create an inner dwelling and a creative in-between space linking illustration and poetry. The illustrations present the everyday and the marginal through compositions and color palettes drawn from dreamlike and fantastical realms. It is an invitation to look at the meeting point of the written word and the visual image as both a space and a way to find grounding within a wide range of emotions and ideas.
