Where The Moss Grows

The forest: a tangled and shadowy space in which the light filters slowly, revealing only part of its secret and hiding the rest. It is a place of danger and fear but also of curiosity and wonder, a gateway into the out-of-the-ordinary. The exhibition invites visitors to wander through a forest of consciousness, an in-between space in which darkness ceases to be a threat and becomes an open field of discovery. Vered Tzin and Hagit Frenkel cover the gallery walls with large, densely composed paintings and then cover them with a layer of black paint which visitors can etch away to reveal the images hidden beneath, and thus become partners in this evolving creation.
