Ziv Sameach’s figures are born in the street and return to it, illuminated inside the light boxes of the street gallery at 97 Jaffa Street, Jerusalem. They offer a glimpse into a colorful, hyper-emotional universe where images merge and break apart into a grotesque carnival of humanity, moving between compassion and aggression, imagination and reality. Gathered together in the streets of Jerusalem, these images hang between faith and doubt, carrying within them the urgency or the pulsing drive to paint and to create, no matter what.
